AMVETS Programs

Through quality programs AMVETS is able to provide countless hours of service to make a difference.

AMVETS Against Drub & Alcohol Abuse (AADAA)

Working with local schools and youth groups the AADAA helps to educate youth about drugs and alcohol abuse encouraging the development of programs that foster self esteem and coping skills among students.

Veterans History Project

Through recorded interviews and other documents, the Veterans History Project will chronicle veterans' and citizens' wartime experiences, and the effect these experiences had in their lives.  AMVETS is proud to be a founding partner of this program.  The Veterans History Project is part of the Library of Congress and its American Folklife Center.

Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP)

The ASBP collects blood form the military community, for the military community providing a connection between those who give and the sick or injured who need their help.  Those who donate blood through the ASBP directly support fellow service men and women in need at military medical treatment facilities at home and troops deployed worldwide.
