AMVETS Membership
Who Can Join?
- Those who served honorably in the US Armed Forces, including National Guard and Reserves anytime after Sept. 15, 2015
- Those who are currently serving honorably in the US Armed Forces, including National Guard and Reserves
- Those who served as American citizens in armed forces of allied nations, under honorable conditions, from Sept. 15, 1940 to May 8, 1975
- Those who served as Merchant Marines
- Proof can be in the form of DD-214 honorable discharge certificate or other appropriate documents.
